Welcome to the My Wallet Community
This is a private learning community for students of My Wallet. The purpose of this community is simple: To help you apply what you learn, think more clearly about money, and build better financial habits over time. This is not just a discussion forum. It is an accountability and learning environment built around the Banknote Equation.
You are not expected to know everything. You are not expected to be perfect.
You are expected to:
Be honest.
Be respectful.
Be willing to learn.
Be open to questioning your own assumptions.
Support other members in a constructive way.
We are here to improve together.
This community is not a place to:
Complain without reflection.
Shame yourself or others.
Gossip about family, employers, banks, or financial institutions.
Debate politics.
Attack other members.
Seek validation without learning.
Spread misinformation.
Every discussion should move the conversation forward.
Treat every member with professionalism and respect.
No personal attacks.
No sarcasm directed at other members.
No bullying.
No harassment.
No discrimination.
Challenge ideas.
Never attack people.
Before posting, ask yourself:
Does this help someone learn?
Does this encourage better thinking?
Does this contribute to the community?
If not, reconsider your post.
We encourage discussion.
We encourage questions.
We encourage healthy disagreement.
In fact, I encourage you to challenge my ideas, question the Banknote Equation, and ask better questions.
You do not need to agree with everything.
Real education comes from curiosity, not blind agreement.
Whenever possible, organize your posts using the Banknote Equation.

Monthly Progress Report (Required)
As part of the My Wallet journey, every student is expected to submit a monthly progress report until they reach their personal debt-free goal.
Your report should include:
Current debt balance
Debt paid this month
Income changes (if any)
Savings progress
Financial wins
Challenges you faced
One lesson you applied from the course
The purpose is not perfection.
The purpose is consistency.
One of the best ways to strengthen your own understanding is by helping someone else.
Before asking for help, consider whether you can contribute to another student's learning.
Share experiences.
Share ideas.
Ask thoughtful questions.
Encourage progress.
Always remain respectful.
This is a private learning community.
Please protect everyone's privacy.
Do not share:
Full names

Credit card numbers

Any confidential or identifying information about yourself or others
Generalize examples whenever possible.
To protect the quality of the community, posts may be removed if they:
Break the community guidelines.
Include personal attacks or harassment.
Promote illegal or fraudulent activities.
Contain spam or advertising.
Share confidential personal information.
Add no educational value after repeated reminders.
Repeated violations may result in suspension or removal from the community.
This community was created for one purpose:
To help you become a better financial thinker.
Not just while completing this course.
But for the rest of your life.
Every conversation should move us closer to that goal.
Learn.
Relearn.
Unlearn.
Think independently.
Support one another.
And continue building a stronger financial future one decision at a time.
